I love this picture…I never get bored of looking at it. I’m not sure if its because I’m obsessed with water or the view of being under water that gets me.
Just finished another sheet of papel picado using Patrick Murillo’s drawings. I upgraded the paper I used from last time using Vellum paper…it looks like tissue paper cause you can see through it but it feels like regular paper with a softer feeling. It was fun making this, but my fingers need a break. I can finally finish my warm bowl of arroz con leche…mmmm!
This is my first attempt to Papel Picado…I’ve been taking this online workshop by Patrick Murillo on Crafty Chica and I’ve learned so much this far. I can’t wait to take this art a step further.
I’ve been busying doing different things for my house since I got my own Cricut…my recent creation was this robot wind chime for my kids room. They love it! :)
Instead of buying it on Etsy for $20 some dollars, I made mine for less then $6 dollars….GO CRAFY ME!!! ;)
The kiddos finished mosaic art, candle holder project. They are using it as their nightlight :)
Mother’s Day isn’t too far off…made a paper rose…let’s see what else I can come up with.
I’ve been keeping myself busy…I’ve been really inspired to do more needle work, even a tattoo but that won’t be posted till it’s done. Either way…I’ll continue to ramble on <3
