Big Move

Its been 3 weeks since I’ve posted anything…sorry I’ve been busy and not to mention I have been MIA on having a phone, which kind of makes things a lot better for me. No stressing, no drama, nothing unimportant taking up my time…only what is right in front of me.

My family and I will  be making a big move from Korea to Nebraska in a week or so.

Yup, 23 hours with 4 kids, a dog, and a man-child. So I have everything prepped for their entertainment but now I am left wondering what should I do as entertainment…of course knitting but what? Have been hearing that the weather is drastic where we will be. Here it gets cold but never lower than two digits…however where we are going it’s down to singles and negatives.

Which reminds me, I finally finished up my Antler Cardigan and just in time for the weather.

I added these awesome wooden etched buttons I found at a textile store here in Korea. However, after blocking it seemed as if my cardigan got a bit larger but I don’t care it’s sooooo comfortable. I have been thinking of knitting my next project on queue ravelry list, but I don’t have the needles…:(

Either way here is the next pattern on my list: Raindrops by Emily Wessel I will be using Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light in Edison Bulb.

But for the meantime I will settle for some nice pair of heart socks just for the season and for foot lovin’ :)

I will post more soon, if I don’t post before I leave: Happy Valentine’s Day!

Winter

I sort of pick up some projects along with the one I am currently working on. But it’s winter and Christmas is just around the corner. Currently I am still working on my ultraviolet Antler cardigan. I need a few more inches to attach the sleeves and then getting it done.

Then I picked up another crochet project. I’ve had this yarn for months and it’s super soft so I started crocheting a Purl Bee pattern.

I’ve also been doing some last minute Christmas gifts and Christmas cards.

So as you can see I’ve been a busy elf making sure that everything is getting done. I have also gotten the kids to do a few things too.

They made paper ornaments and decorated the Christmas tree.

Well better get going. There is a lot of big fluffy snow that need tracks on.

Happy Knitting!

Have some beautiful scrap yarn…don’t toss them. Improvise, I love love this green scrap yarn that I’ve kept for so long that I finally decided to make a necklace with it and embellish it with a wooden button. I can even wear it as a bracelet. It perfect to wear with a simple blouse…it will definitely add some pop to your outfit. :)
